About Me

Colin serves as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard. Life at sea has brought him face to face with wild polar bears and opposite dangerous drug runners. His experiences inform his stories of identity, sacrifice, and the beauty of the vast, apathetic ocean. Colin studied English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University, where he is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English International Honors Society. He lives in Washington, DC, with his wife, Alaina, and their rescued Australian Shepard, Sera. When not writing, Colin enjoys woodworking, welding, and cooking.
